Saturday. Nerves a little frayed. Trying to eat all the food that is in our refrigerator. Last load of laundry in the states.
We have more electronic gadgets and wires that you can possibly imagine. Everything we own except our underwear has a passcode and a username. Sometimes the username is your email address - sometimes it isn't? OY! Heck we even needed a special card to do our laundry today.
Declan here - This to all of my classmates. Its Saturday and I haven't left yet. And what my Mom said is true - its unbelievable how many cords, cards and codes we need. Please don't tell me that is alliteration or I think my head will explode. I'll be contacting you later this week when we get to England. Declan out.

The great adventure begins...almost
12 days before we leave and I don't think the children will survive the hotel stay. I don't think I'll survive the hotel stay. The renters needed the house a bit early so in keeping with the idea that early renters are better than no renters, we have agreed to stay in a hotel for about 2 weeks before we fly away. Lovely Gaithersburg. How people drive in traffic on 270 everyday is beyond me.
This AM I was shocked by one of the appliances. Not shocked as in "Oh my God - look how ugly that appliance is!" But shocked as in electric shock. Fun times.
The night before the fire alarm went off about 5 times. Brought back fond memories of Lewis Hall at Tufts my freshman year.
Tonight we got a call from the front desk saying there were some complaints about our noise. Its like we were channelling Keith Moon or something.
Tomorrow we are picking up Blake from the airport. He's been in Berlin, casing the joint for us.
